This course introduces users to the PowerPoint presentation package. The duration of the course is 6-7 hours depending on the experience and requirements of the student.
Keyboard, computer and Windows experience recommended New Windows users are advised to complete the Windows foundation course.
Getting started, typing information on a slide. Saving your work, getting help. Viewing presentations, viewing slides. Creating a presentation, choosing a template. Applying a template, positioning text. Changing templates and colours. Adding pictures, using Clipart, drawing tools. Arranging objects. Creating and changing graphs. Using tables and charts. Preparing a presentation, printing slides, notes and handouts.
This course will provide an introduction to Microsoft's presentation package and will enable the user to create worthwhile and impressive presentations.
