Quotation System:
Used to compile automated 'quotations' based on stored static data lists. These lists can be updated to reflect price changes.
Originally designed for use within a Private Hospital
Can be adapted for use within similar environments where multiple attributes combine to form a quotation.
Data can be prepared in a matter of a few minutes - the paper based system, which this system replaced, took as long as one hour.

The development cost was £4300 & the system was completed within a month of the order.
The cost was recovered within six to twelve months. The real (and un-measurable) benefit is the additional accuracy of the data. Whilst looking prices up in manuals and data sheets, calculating percentages and discounts it would be very easy to make an error - these errors could cost thousands of pound in this situation.
Previous quotes can be reviewed, recalled for amendment to names etc but with similar content and re used. The system is based on the client - server model allowing (authorised) other members of staff such as managers and supervisors to comment and approve quotations.
